I find that the greatest thing in life is not so much as where we stand but in what direction we are moving. To reach the port of heaven we must sometimes sail not only with the wind and sometimes against it, but we must sail, not drift nor lie at anchor. I would rather be ashes than dust. I would rather my spark burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry rot. I would rather be a superb meteor in magnificent glow.
